Detectives Seek Identity of Suspect in Bryantown Store Robberies

Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward

robbery at Bryantown store 101513 robbery at Bryantown store 101513Charles County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the identity of a man who may be responsible for at least two robberies and a theft at the Bryantown Store in the 6400 block of Leonardtown Road in Bryantown.  Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for the suspect’s identity.

The most recent robbery occurred on Aug. 9 at 10:03 p.m., when the suspect entered the store, showed a gun and demanded money. The same man is believed to be involved in a theft that occurred on Jan. 1 in which he stole cash from an open register and a robbery that occurred last October in which he pulled a gun and demanded cash from an employee.

In all three cases, the suspect was wearing dark clothing. He is possibly in his twenties, between 5’5” to 5’9”, with a small to medium build. After each event, he fled toward Oliver Shop Road and detectives believe he may have ties to that area.

The suspect’s image was captured on a surveillance camera. Anyone who believes they know who the suspect is should contact Det. C. Gregory at (301) 609-6507.
