On July 9, 2014 at approximately 0900 hours, officers from the Snow Hill Police Department and investigators from the Maryland State Police were called to respond to the area of 237 S. Washington St, Snow Hill, Maryland, regarding a robbery involving a handgun. During the investigation, investigators learned the suspect approached the victim’s vehicle displaying a handgun and demanded money from the victim. After retrieving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled in the area of Morgan’s Run Development of Snow Hill, Maryland. The victim reported she heard the sound of a firearm discharge as the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as follows; African American Male in his 20’s with no facial hair and smooth skin complexion wearing dark sweat pants with a black t-shirt. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Trooper First Class Keidel of the Maryland State Police at 410-641-3101. Information can also provided to the Lower Eastern Shore Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776, where a reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case.
